Established through late 2017 and early 2018, the Roman Law Reading Group is a non-profit special interest club, operating in certain states of Australia. Within each state of operation, the Reading Group functions through a separate "Chapter". Each Chapter is led by a different Convener, who has a passion for Roman Law.
Through meetings of the Group, the Conveners hope to share with others not only the joy of learning the Law of Ancient Rome, but also the charm of the adage “Historia magistra vitae est” (History is life’s teacher).
If you would like to make contact with the Conveners of the Roman Law Reading Group, please send a message via the contact form, which is accessible here (or from the menu above).
If you are an Academic or Roman Law Scholar and would like to present at a meeting of the Reading Group, please do get in touch. We would love to have you involved.
